WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following is a comment from U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) on the House voting today to establish an independent, bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol:
"January 6 was one of the darkest days in our nation's history and the American people deserve to know exactly what happened.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), chair of the House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations subcommittee – which oversees the nation's health agencies – announced today that the panel will hold a hearing on Wednesday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. EDT on building Americans' confidence in COVID-19 vaccines to help vaccinate more people across the country.
On Wednesday, May 26, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT), the House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee - chaired by U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) – will hold a hearing entitled, "A Shot at Normalcy: Building COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence."

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) sent a letter today to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra urging him to immediately reverse the Trump Administration's policy that revoked the Food and Drug Administration's power to review the accuracy of some COVID-19 tests before they are used to screen people for the virus.
