More than 90 House Democrats are asking the Supreme Court to uphold Obamacare's requirement that nearly all employers provide contraception in their employee health plans, even if the employer has a religious objection.
The justices will hear arguments March 25 in a case brought by two private companies that object to providing birth control in their employee health plans because of the owners' religious beliefs.

Scores of House Democrats entered the legal fight over ObamaCare's birth-control mandate Tuesday, filing an amicus brief before the Supreme Court in defense of the contentious coverage requirement.

(Reuters) - Three Democratic members of the House of Representatives sent Target Corp Chief Executive Gregg Steinhafel a letter on Thursday requesting documents on a data breach that affected tens of millions of Target customers.
The request from the House Committee on Energy and Commerce is in advance of a hearing scheduled for next month.
"This breach is particularly significant because of its unprecedented scope and scale," the Democrats, Henry Waxman, Diana DeGette and Jan Schakowsky, wrote in the letter.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep Diana DeGette (CO-01) issued the following statement regarding her support of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 (Omnibus), which passed the House 359-67.
"While I do not like everything in this bill, it was a compromise that will benefit Colorado and the nation. The Omnibus makes targeted investments in key areas like medical research and disaster relief. For a change, the bill does not include many of the harmful riders contained in previous legislation.

WASHINGTON – Fed up with the House GOP's focus on restricting women's health rights instead of considering a real economic agenda for women and families, pro-choice members of Congress led by Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) and Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) – Co-Chairs of the Pro-Choice Caucus – protested a House Judiciary Committee Markup of another anti-choice bill.
