DeGette Statement on the Veterans Affairs Reform Compromise

July 30, 2014

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette issued the following statement after the House passage of H.R. 3230, The Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act:

"The bipartisan legislation that passed the House today should help to bring the fundamental reforms needed to resolve the systemic problems and mismanagement within the Department of Veterans Affairs. While the passage of this legislation will deliver key resources for our veterans, this issue will continue to require our nation's attention moving forward. There is no substitute for our continued commitment to ensure our veterans receive the care they have earned."
