DeGette Statement On Pfc. Crookston

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Diana DeGette (D-CO) todayreleased the following statement on Private First Class Duncan C.Crookston, who died late last week from complications resulting frominjuries sustained in Iraq:

"Private First Class Duncan C. Crookston served his country with greathonor and distinction. It is a tragedy when someone with such a brightfuture loses their life so young. His service to our country is greatlyappreciated by Coloradoans and Americans nationwide.

"I want to personally thank his family and extend my heartfelt condolences to them for their loss."
