DeGette Statement on Donald Trump’s Shameful Joint Address

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Diana DeGette (CO-01) released the following statement after Trump’s Address to the Joint Session of Congress.

“Tonight, Donald Trump spent over an hour spewing lies, insulting the American people, and bullying anyone who is opposed to him.

“It’s because of him that costs are skyrocketing, the stock market is crashing, and our adversaries are laughing. His actions are dangerous and shameful, and I will fight to oppose his disgraceful agenda every step of the way.”
