Congressional Study Group on Japan Co-Chairs DeGette and Bucshon Statement on New Japanese Prime Minister

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressional Study Group on Japan (CSGJ) Co-ChairsCongresswoman Diana DeGette (CO-01) and Congressman Larry Bucshon, M.D. (IN-08)  released the following statement after former Japanese Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba was elected to serve as the next Prime Minister of Japan.

“As co-chairs of the Congressional Study Group on Japan, we congratulate Shigeru Ishiba on his election to serve the people of Japan as Prime Minister.
