WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) issued the following statement on the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry hearing today:

“No one in this country is above the law, not even the president. Three of the nation’s top constitutional law experts told the House Judiciary Committee today that, in their opinion, President Trump committed at least three impeachable offenses: bribery, abuse of power and obstruction of justice. They also made clear that when a president betrays the trust that our nation placed in them, Congress has a duty to act.”
